Contemporary dance
Four choreographers and eight dancers celebrate the World Year of the Astronomy, reflecting about the figure and on the absolute genius of Galileo Galilei. The beauty of the show shine in the technical cleverness and in the strong stylistic differences of the various choreographies, in the sign of the search of movement and expressiveness, in unstable balance between the history and the contemporaneity.

The scene as space of research, arena where you can become invisible, where the actor can make errors and progress. The actor is praised and treaded, afflicted and excited, afraid but happy. Oktagon is a trip made in stopovers that suggest questions on the creative experience of the artist, that reflect himself in own soul and learn to present himself to the world. Fall and rise in front of the public.

Drop of Rain and Ray of Sun are pursued for explaining the cycle of the water to the children in ironic way, bizarre and scientifically correct. They will meet a series of eccentric and funny characters as the engineer Acid, the inspector Purify, the uncle Sea and all of them will illustrate the value of the water and the importance of reduction. At the end of the story they will meet and will give life, as the nature want, to the rainbow!

One of the first professional actresses of San Marino, in collaboration with Lady Godiva Theater, present a homage to Alfonsina Strada, only woman that race the Giro d’Italia in 1924. A scandal, for the time, because they believed that she wanted to challenge the men, the males. But crazy Fonsina wanted only to fly on the wheels, to race in the wind and to climb the mountains. And the devil in skirt did it for the whole life.

Drammatic monologue
A gentleman appears to Ivan Karamazov. The gentleman wants to convince Ivan that he is the Devil. A terribly low Devil, good, daily. Therefore still more concerned. A poor devil, that tells his secret truths. And sets the questions. Raw. Grotesque. Huge. Comic. Awful. Dostoevskij. Amazing ability as actor of Antonello Taurino, who surprises with this light and intense monologue.
Calanchi is one of the most important event organized by the association. In 2003 we depart with a brave and ambitious project to organize an International Theatre Festival in San Marino, making force on our energies and exploiting the best of the local potentialities. Our aim is to give visibility to companies that operate on the borders of the great theatrical circuits, with great passion and professionalism, also to create a net of collaborations that are useful to whom participates to the Festival exchanging informations and competences. It’s also important for us to introduce to the San Marino public a different theatrical showcase from the home proposals or proposals from the principal theaters of the district. Our experiment works, because we succeeded in proposing quality shows strongly diversified, alternating performances of experimental to comic theater, dance to political theater, prose to funny children shows. The answer of the public is positive, and inspired by the jewels that every year give a new flavour to our Festival.
We have hosted artists from San Marino, Italy, Croatia, Chile, Brazil, Greece, Serbia, Poland, France.
